Programme Synopsis (from www.bbc.co.uk)

Sitcom starring Miranda Hart. It doesn't matter what Miranda attempts in life, whether it's dating or simply dealing with her overbearing mother, she always seems to fall flat, quite literally.

Confessions of an Urban Hoodie part 1....

Hey Everybody,

I’m currently stuck in the library writing scripts, then I get a message from my marketing team saying that I have to post on my blog for the launch of my new website...

What's going on with Jason? To be honest I’m very hungry, my belly is empty….aside from that….I’m going to be filming a show next week for BBC (which will be my fourth BBC production in the last SIX months) Niiiiiice. Can’t remember the damn name of the show though (shame, lol)

Before I forget The Jason Lewis Experience BBC will be filmed later next month so look out for when that drops people. Will be BIGGER and BETTER than Part 1, so keep an eye open. I will be working on this with Mr BAFTA aka Noel Clarke, Daniel Kaluuya, The Dawson Bros and many more….So I hope you enjoy what’s coming.

Ummm….imma go soon because this nosey cow sat next to me keeps peeking over at my screen to see what I’m saying to you.

I will be back to do stand up very soon peeps, have no fear. Sometimes I fall in and out of love with doing stand up because of the whole scene. Don’t get it twisted I’ve still got them jokes, I’m always writing!

I just got this book called THE SECRET I haven’t read it yet, have you? Is it any good?

Oh yeah, quick question....i saw the vampire movie The Twilight on the weekend....What is it with WHITE WOMEN IN FILMS???? The man says 'stay away from me I'm a killer vampire and i drink human blood' and yet she still decides to love him? WTF? If that was a black woman the film would have been over before it began! As soon as he said the part where he sucks blood she'd be out of heeeeeeeeeeere. (Sigh) Ah well.

Bye for now.

A Krystal moment.....

In this month's edition of Krystal Magazine, Editor, Pavel Choudhury speaks to Jason about comedy, controversy and the next stop for The Jason Lewis Experience..

By Pavel Choudhury, Editor

Writer/actor/comic, Jason Lewis is most-famed for his spoof of Bashy's 'Black Boys', propelling him onto MTV Base earlier this year. "I had over half-a-million views [on the internet], and that's an independent sketch without any TV companies," says Jason Lewis. His 30-minute sketch show featured on MTV Base, receiving six-figure viewer ratings.

However, a few people didn't take too kindly to his words in 'Black Boys'. Most notably Richard Blackwood, who fell victim to a one-liner: "He went from MTV to no TV!" But at the end of the sketch Jason says 'it's all joke'. Yet, Blackwood still responded with: "you're getting a few laughs now, but you'll soon be forgotten," Jason says.

Jason Lewis: Not Just a Comedian....

Check out Jason's interview this month with Flavour Magazine...

By Annika Allen, Editor

Jason is not your typical comedian; Jason trained as an actor for 6 years at the Anna Scher Theatre and also has a degree in International Tourism Management. The multi-talented actor, writer and comedian burst onto the UK comedy scene only a few years ago. Since then, he has gained critical acclaim from his hit spoof video ‘Black Boys’ (a parody of Bashy’s Black Boys) and more recently ‘Too Many Weave’, with Daniel Kaluuya, which has already received over 200,000 hits online. Jason’s natural ability to make people laugh, is apparent on The Jason Lewis Experience; a unique presentation of sketch comedy at its best, looking at real life issues with a humorous twist.

Jason has also worked as an actor and writer for the new BBC sketch show Bellamy's People (created by BAFTA award winners and UK comedy heavyweights, Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson), as well as the BBC sitcom Miranda. I sat down with Jason to discuss his thoughts on the UK comedy scene.

So Jase, what made you decide to get into comedy?

I was always a bit of a cheeky kid back at school and loads of people used to tell me how funny I was...
